Kael, Instrument of His Own Demise!
Kael'Thas Sunstrider killed very dead on October 29, 2008. Having lessened Illidan's hold over Outland, it was time to lessen the Burning Legion's. Though Kael'thas was once a loyal servant to Illidan, he now followed The Deceiver, Kil'Jaedan. So having lowered the defenses of Tempest Keep's Eye, Kael and his advisers stood before us. Kael ordered his advisers to engage us one at a time, and we downed each with ease. Slightly frustrated, he commanded their enchanted weapons to rise up against us without their weilders, but we struck them down and used them as our own. Giving his advisers one more chance, he resurrected them and ordered them to attack anew. As we downed each adviser for a second time, Kael grew impatient and entered the battle himself. Kael was a master of both fire and the arcane, casting fireballs, directing flamestrikes, blasting us with arcane, and evening controlling our minds. Kael even unleashed the fury of his faithful pheonix upon us, but we held our own against his attacks. As Kael grew desperate he siphoned the energy the manaforges had been draining from Outland, and grew to immense proportions. In his new state he renewed his attacks against us, even going so far as to play with gravity to kill us. Despite his immense power, Kael was bested, and left mere inches from death on the floor of Tempest Keep. Congratulations to all who got Loot! Having trouble staying grounded? |

Lady Vashj Ravaged to the Core!
Lady Vashj killed very dead on October 23, 2008. Having bested her guard, we finally stood face to face with Lady Vashj, the Matron of Coilfang, and Illidan's most trusted lieutenant. Determined to put an end to her activities in Zangarmarsh, we engaged her. Lady Vashj was far from a pushover. She fought with dagger, bow, and lightning, each attack more powerful than the last, and after a while, summoned what remain of her Coilfang forces to defend her. We bested her troops, and shattered her protective spells, and she in turn rallied a swarm or sporebats to rain toxic acid upon us. Despite this new assault, the Lady fell, and Illidan's hold over Outland lessened. Congratulations to all who got loot! Straight to the heart! |

Shade of Akama No More!!
Shade of Akama killed very dead on August 18, 2008. Though Akama fought valiantly with Illidan when they first took the Black Citadel from Magtheridan, Illidan never fully trusted the Broken. To ensure his loyalty he chained a portion of Akama's soul, and had it watched over by a legion of Ashtongue. Knowing we stood no chance against the betrayer alone, we burst into the chamber harboring Akama's soul and began to fight off its Ashtongue guardians with Akama's help. Eventually the Shade broke free and attacked Akama, but with our aid it was slain, and Akama's soul was reunited with the help of Rage's phalactery. Congratulations to Eterna on [Wristsbands of Divine Influence] and Grisham on And when the time is right, the Betrayer will become... the betrayed. |

Supremus Reduced to Rubble!!
Supremus killed very dead on August 17, 2008. Emerging from the Karabor Sewers we found ourselves in the courtyard of the Black Temple. The sky was filled with Dragonmaw, and the ground littered with fel orcs, but we pushed forward until all that stood between us and the interior of the temple was Illidan's abyssal, Supremus. Supremus's shear size dwarved that of even the almighty Gruul. The abyssal cracked the earth showering us with Shadowmoon's viridian lava, and chased us one by one across the courtyard, but he was no match for us in the end. Supremus fell and the grand gates of the Black Temple opened... Congratulations to Aravis on [Legionkiller] and Shammahulk on DnD aquires a new target! |

Naj'entus Proven Spineless!
High Warlord Naj'entus killed very dead on August 14, 2008. With our recent success, we decided it was finally time to aid Akama in the sieging of Illidan's Black Citadel. Unfortunately for us we were forced to enter through the Karabor Sewers, as the main gate to the temple was fiercely gaurded by Dragonmaw and Illidari. At the end of the sewers stood Lady Vashj's High Warlord, Naj'entus, who feverishly guarded the sewers exit into the Black Temple's courtyard. Determined to not let our prescence be announced to Illidan, we engaged the hulking naga, who threw handfuls of spines at us. Despite his control of the very water we fought him in, Naj'entus fell and we continued our march to the Black Temple's gates. Azgalor... Doomed Forever!!
Azgalor killed very dead on August 7, 2008. After Mannoroth's defeat at the hands of Grommash Hellscream, his second in command, Azgalor, was promoted to General of the Legion, and was chiefly responsible for organizing the Legion and Scourges's forces during the Battle of Mount Hyjal. Realizing Scourge forces alone could not reach the World Tree, Azgalor ordered the deployment of fel stalkers and the landing of infernals. Though they were a terrifying addition to the assaulting forces, they too were no match for the combined forces of the Horde, resulting in Azgalor attacking the Horde encampment directly. Azgalor's lust for chaos and destruction were incredible even for a demon, as his battlecry alone was enough to stifle even the bravest of heroes. He made the clear blue skies of Hyjal rain with fire, and even used our own bodies as vessels for demonic summoning, but we stood determined, and slayed him as we did every other commander the Burning Legion threw at us. Now only one remained... the Legion Field Commander, and current Supreme Comander... Archimonde... Congratulations to Santhion on [Boundless Agony], Thezoro on Your time IS up... |

Kaz'rogal Marked for Death!!
Kaz'rogal killed very dead on August 6, 2008. Having helped Jaina and her forces all we could, we ventured to Thrall's encampment where the Burning Legion and the Undead Scourge were mustering a third assualt on the World Tree. This time, lead by the general Kaz'rogal, gargolyes and frostwyrms decended upon the united forces of Azeroth in an attempt to break our stand. When this tactic failed, the general himself emerged to take matters into his own hands. The battle with Kaz'rogal was fierce, as the Ered'ruin's strength rivaled that of the Great Doom Lord Kazzak. The demon used our own powers against us as our mana exploded violently before our very eyes, but with the help of Thrall he was no match for us. Congratulations to Ironsides on [Belt of Seething Fury] and the Guild Bank after sharding [Angelista's Sash]! You... are marked. |

Anetheron Put to Sleep... Permanently!!
Anetheron killed very dead on July 24, 2008. With the death of Rage Winterchill we were granted a brief reprise; however the Burning Legion wasted no time in mustering another attack. Again waves of undead and cultists assaulted Jaina's encampment in an attempt to reach the World Tree. Leading the second assault was the Nathrezeim Anetheron, second in command to the late Tichondrius. The Dreadlord thrust waves of vampiric bats at us, and made the sky rain infernals, but like Rage he too fell. Having bought precious time at the Alliance encampment we headed off to Thrall's base in order to further delay the Legion's siege. Karathress Deep Sixed!
Fathom Lord Karathress killed very dead on June 29, 2008. With the remainder of Lady Vashj's defenses down, all that stood between us and her inner sanctum was the Fathom Lord, Karathress. A hulking naga with an unruly mace, and a ferocious team of Vashj followers, he was a force to be reckoned with. One by one his companions fell, but the Fathom Lord stood strong. Absorbing the powers of his fallen companions Karathress grew immensely powerful as the fight drew on, but in the end he was no match for us and he too fell. Congratulations to Jhan on [Fathom-Brooch of the Tidewalkter] and Whaevoz, Fryman, and Eterna on [Leggigns of the Vanquished Defender]! Her... excellency... awaits! |

Leotheras Splits for the Last Time!
Leotheras the Blind killed very dead on June 29, 2008. The first demon hunters were all night elves, and it was believed they were the only race that could successfully train in the art of demon hunting. Illidan was determined to prove this wrong and began to train blood elf demon hunters. Leotheras was the first of these and... was unstable... Locked away deep in Lady Vashj's Serpentshrine Cavern, Leotheras awaited his freedom. Unfortunately for him his freedom was short lived, for as soon as he was released he stood face to face with Death and Destruction. And so Illidan's first blood elf demon hunter fell... Al'ar Crashes and Burns!
Al'ar killed very dead on June 25, 2008. Kael'thas harbors love for very few, and his love for his phoenix companion stands above the rest. Unfortunately for him, the phoenix was all that stood between us and his inner sanctum. The bird put up a fight, and after its initial defeat, rose from its ashes to muster another terrifying assault, but we were prepared. The bird fell once more, and this time stayed down. With Tempest Keep's defenses down, we mustered our courage, as all that remained was the final assault on the Sun King himself... Solarian Banished to the Void!
High Astromancer Solarian killed very dead on May 1, 2008. Though many blood elves defected from Kael'thas forces, the most powerful continued to serve him, and stood gaurd over his Tempest Keep. The High Astromancer refused to fight alone, summoning legions of blood elf soilders in an attempt to further our advance, but we stood our ground and slew everything she threw at us. Even when she called upon the powers of the void and transformed into a demon of epic proportions, we stood resolute and the Astromancer fell. Halazzi Has Less Than Nine Lives!
Halazzi killed very dead on April 19, 2008. After having raided Vashj's cavern and Kael's keep Death and Destruction felt it time to return to Zul'Aman and pay the Lynx Aspect a visit. Rage Winterchill killed very dead on April 7, 2008. The Caverns of Time is filled with many mysteries... and valuables. We decided we would explore the famous Battle of Mount Hyjal and see what treaures it held. After battling through legions of undead and necromancers we faced off with Rage Winterchill, the Blood Lich of the Burnign Legion. With the help of Jaina Proudmoore and her Alliance forces we stood victorious, and prepared for the next wave of Scourge forces... Furthering our exploration of Serpentshrine Cavern, we came across Morogrim Tidewalker, a gargantuan sea giant with a murloc army rivaling the coastlines or Azeroth (hey wait I thought that quest said Murlocs aren't indigenous to Outlands...).
